This well established engineering consultancy is long established and acknowledged as a leader in their field. They specialise in all aspects of civil engineering for the urban development industry encompassing land and building development, marinas, harbours, canal estates, transport systems, traffic management – from initial feasibility studies to concept planning and construction management.

Joining the engineering team you will be supported by a strong design group and work closely with one of the Directors on every project. You will be responsible for proactively directing and controlling project delivery to client specifications. This includes liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities; reviewing designs and project development; reviewing bills of quantities; preparing development applications; feasibility studies; project management and site supervision.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
• 2 to 8 years experience in project management / civil engineering
• A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, residential / land development or related infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of contract administration and contract control
• Strong presentation, client liaison and report writing skills

Civil Project Engineer
The Client

The Role
This is an opportunity to work with some of Australia’s most impressive engineering assets!
This hands on role will see you looking after the clients civil asset management, maintaining close to 20 dams. You will condition monitor these dams, reporting back what needs immediate attention, alongside what will need attention over the next 5 years. You will support a maintenance team, designing plans of what to build and what to fix.
This role is located in Cooma, NSW.
The Requirements
A civil or structural engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in large-scale civil and multi-disciplined projects in a related industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills, along with knowledge and experience with design, operation and maintenance of civil assets.
High level communication and negotiation skills, combined with a proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will see you succeed in this role.
